SEAS H1825-06 (27TAC/GB) 'Prestige'
Aluminium‑dome tweeter.
The SEAS 27TAC/GB uses a 27 mm anodized aluminium alloy dome operating in a pistonic mode across the audible range. This ensures stable directivity and a smooth high‑frequency response. A Hexagrid protective grille prevents mechanical damage to the diaphragm.
The surround is made from Sonomex, providing a low resonance frequency and high mechanical linearity. The titanium voice‑coil former combines low mass with high stiffness, allowing efficient transfer of force from the coil to the dome without introducing additional losses.
A copper cap in the magnet system reduces voice‑coil inductance and lowers nonlinear distortion. The rear chamber features optimized geometry and internal damping, which suppress resonances and contribute to a smooth frequency response.
