Scan-Speak 18W/8545-01 midwoofer is an improved version of the highly praised classic 18W/8545-00 driver, but with new aluminum chassis, updated cone (made from coated air dried paper with carbon fibre) and new spider as wells as with few other details implemented. These updates improve mechanical stability and sound performance.
High-quality magnet system design with patented Symmetric Drive (SD-1) continues to be key feature.
