Ultra-light carbon-fiber composite material known as TeXtreme® provides excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio of big 74-mm dome used in Bliesma M74T-6 midrange drivers. Moving part weight is only 2.1 g, with linear excursion of 2.4 mm.
Low-inductive single-layer ribbon CCAW (Copper-clad Aluminum Wire) voice coil of Bliesma M74T-6 is wound on titanium former. Wire terminals are gold plated.
Textile surround covered by faceplate provides moderate horn ratio with high first breakup mode loading for flat frequency response and wide off-axis response. Dome is covered by protection grill. Thick aluminium mounting flange of Bliesma M74T-6 is powder coated, aluminium rear chamber is filled with natural wool damping.
