Midwoofer with sliced paper cone and patented SD-1 motor.
The slices filled with damping glue dramatically reduce the break-up modes of the diaphragm.
Scan-Speak 15W/4531G00 is also equipped with low damping SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) surround, large ferrite magnet system and die cast basket vented below spider.
