The Bliesma M74B‑6 employs a 74 mm beryllium dome designed for wide bandwidth and exceptionally low distortion. The diaphragm’s moving mass of only 1.8 g allows the driver to reproduce the upper midrange with precision and excellent transient behaviour.

The single-layer ribbon voice coil is wound with copper‑clad aluminum wire (CCAW) on a titanium former with reduced height, which helps maintain stable performance and minimise thermal compression. The neodymium motor operates in full magnetic saturation and includes a copper sleeve that lowers nonlinear and modulation distortion.

The aluminium front flange is powder-coated, and the aluminium rear chamber is filled with natural wool damping to suppress internal reflections and resonances. Gold-plated terminals ensure reliable electrical contact, and a rigid non-removable protective grille shields large beryllium dome from mechanical damage.
