WaxCoil™ features interturn insulation, consisting of a specially produced paper. The whole WaxCoil™ is impregnated with a unique paraffin wax, especially developed for Jantzen Audio. This ensures, there are no air-pockets trapped in the wax betweer plies, giving higher temperature tolerance and better winding integrity.
All Jantzen Audio WaxCoil™ are made from 99.9% pure ETP (Electrolytic-Tough-Pitch) C11000 (IACS certified) copper.
When used in high performance crossovers, main benefits from using foil inductors come in the form of less distortion and higher dynamic headroom.
