Jantzen Audio C-Coil 17AWG 3.700 mH

Coil wound around a toroidal sandwich core.

Unique properties of the Jantzen Audio C-Coils make them the ultimate inductors for the bass section for certain crossover designs, where a large power handling and extremely low resistance is desirable.

Special shrink foil is used to reduce microphonic effect.

Please note! Jantzen Audio C-Coils are intended for use in passive crossovers of multi-way loudspeaker systems only.

Due to toroidal core’s strong electromagnetism output, these coils are not suitable for installation in audio amplifiers or active speaker systems.

It is not recommended also to use C-Coils in crossovers with an XO-point above 1.20 kHz (due to the core′s distortion factor).

Jantzen Audio C-Coil cannot be measured using a standard LC-meter due to the characteristics of the core and winding method.

All C-Coils are tested on a professional LCR bridge before they are shipped.
